The Meadows Foundation exists to assist people and institutions of Texas improve the quality and circumstances of life for themselves and future generations.

The foundation's grants staff are available by phone or email. You may schedule informational meetings with staff, as needed. You can contact them through their website or by calling 214-826-9431.
The foundation awards grants only to qualified 501(c)(3) public charities or public entities serving the people of Texas. They do not lend or grant money to individual persons. Proposals must benefit the state of Texas in order to be considered, although an organization's headquarters are not required to be in Texas. Note that the foundation provide grants throughout Texas and up to 50% of giving is focused on the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Applications may be submitted online throughout the year. The foundation encourages applicants to apply at least four months before funding is needed.
Award amounts vary by individual proposal. Specific programs or projects account for almost 85% of total giving. Although not a significant part of the foundation's funding, they will consider:
